First Sunday of the 2021 New Year dedicated to my Lord, my Father in heaven, He is my God!

So just after church, on the way to my aunt’s place an hour away, I passed through the mall just a few minutes from the church. Checking what entrance I should use I headed for entrance #1. After a few steps I realized that entrance #2 was closer so I turned back.

As I entered the ‘sanitization zone’, a few people had queued at the sanitizer. I headed for the queue. As I reached out my right hand, my left side accidentally bumped into a lady standing next to me.

“Sorry, excuse me.” I remarked.

She looked at me for a moment as I tried to imagine her face under the mask. She continued a step then stopped to look at me again.

“Elliot!” She exclaimed.

She was my neighbor. I don’t believe in coincidences so someone say,

“God is up to something!”

After I left the mall I was back on route to aunty Susan’s place; but one last stop at Alhaji’s Wife’s place. Just a little time to relax and get a bottle of water before I make the call. It is actually a restaurant called ‘Alhaji’s Wife’. Funny eh 😅
